You will also be able to redeem your Schott Zwiesel Glassware Credits on Coles Online.  You must sign up or log in to your Coles Online account and select the Products you wish to redeem/purchase and add them to your trolley along with other items if required to qualify for the minimum order value of $50. You are then required to check out your trolley whereby your account will be checked to ensure your Flybuys account is linked to your Coles Online account. Once your Flybuys card is linked, you will be prompted to ‘Redeem credits’ or ‘Skip offer’ if you do not wish to redeem your credits. The order confirmation screen will display your order total including your redeemed products at retail price without the credit deduction. If you choose to ‘Redeem credits’ and have enough credits for half credits and ‘half pay’ or full credits for an item, your credits will be deducted when the products are packed and invoiced. Credits will be applied to the most expensive Schott Zwiesel Glassware product first to maximise the amount of credits used. If you choose to ‘Redeem credits’ and do not have any credits in your account when your order is packed and invoiced, you will be charged the full retail price for the products.

No, you can only redeem the Schott Zwiesel Glassware in Coles Supermarkets or Coles Online.

Scan or enter your Flybuys card and you will receive 1 Glassware Credit for every $20 qualifying spend in one transaction at Coles Supermarkets, Coles Online or Liquorland.  For example, if you spend $60 in one transaction, you will receive 3 Glassware Credits.  The qualifying spend is calculated after applying all savings and discounts and excludes the purchase of select products.  See Terms & Conditions for all exclusions.

The number of Glassware Credits earned will be printed on the bottom of your receipt, or displayed on your invoice for Coles Online orders.  Alternatively, you can find your Glassware Credit balance in your account on the Flybuys website or on the Flybuys app.

Yes, you will continue to earn Flybuys points on all eligible transactions.  The earning or redemption of Glassware Credits will not impact the collection or redemption of your Flybuys points.

If you have earned enough credits to redeem 1 item for free and 1 item via half pay, simply scan your Flybuys card and the Schott Zwiesel glassware products.  You will need to redeem the Schott Zwiesel glassware product for free first and then can redeem the second glassware product by redeeming 50% of your Glassware credits and paying 50% of the retail price for the half pay product.

You cannot choose half pay if you have the number of credits eligible to redeem the product with full credits.

Yes, the glassware is 100% dishwasher safe and will not etch, cloud or discolour.

No, the Decanter should only be washed carefully by hand using warm water.  Rinse immediately after use and if necessary, soak in warm water to help loosen and remove any residue stains.  Do not pour boiling water as it may be too hot for the glass.  It is not advisable to use detergent as this can leave residue and streaks on the inside of the decanter. The quality of the water you wash your glasses in can sometime leave stains on the glasses.  For any stubborn stains, try some white vinegar and warm water and let it stand for 5-10 minutes before rinsing with water.

Tritan®’s composition is exclusive to Schott Zwiesel, Tritan® is a technique used to produce quality and durable crystalline glassware. The process combines a mix of materials to make the glasses brilliant, break-resistant and dishwasher-proof.

White wine glasses tend to be smaller in height and bowl size which allows the to be in closer contact with your nose.

Red wine glasses tend to be larger in height and bowl size which helps to increase the surface area of wine to oxygen.

The warranty period is two years for all Schott Zwiesel products.

Traditionally, only mature red wines were decanted in order to separate the wine from sediment and to gently aerate the wine after years spent in the bottle. A wine 10 years or older is typically considered as matured.

However young red wines also benefit from decanting, as the aeration makes them smoother and rounder, speeding up the ageing process.

Decanting younger wines (younger than 10 years) helps to open-up aromas and flavours, revealing more complexity. Carbon dioxide is the main preservation element in wine, which is integrated during the first (alcoholic) fermentation. Exposure to oxygen burns off carbon dioxide, effectively maturing the wine and allowing the bouquet to develop faster.

Decanting wine allows flavours and aromas that were dormant while bottled to expand and breathe.  It also allows any wine sediment to settle at the bottom of the decanter thereby preventing sediment entering your glassware.

There are a number of varying factors like the style and structure of the wine, but generally speaking, the older the wine, the less time it needs open. You also don’t want to decant wine that you don’t intend to drink, just as you wouldn’t leave a bottle of wine open overnight as it would oxidise.

If possible, decant your mature wines at least an hour before you drink it. Just like decanting an older wine too vigorously can burn off its lighter characters (typically fruit and floral), decanting it too early can do the same.

A young wine will benefit from decanting at least a few hours prior to consumption.
